Honour your father

Your father never was perfect, and neither are you ever going to be the perfect father. It is absolutely fine to fall short, as long as you are able to find and appreciate the successes in between. If your child runs to you and hugs you when you reach home, that means you have done something right as a father and you in fact owe it to your father, who you used to run to and hug at one point. Honour him, and one day you will be honoured.
