Let's talk about depression

April 7th is World Health Day and the theme for this year is 'Depression - Let's Talk'.

The WHO has created a set of handouts to spread awareness about depression. They are simple, clear, and easy to read.

The handouts are free to use and distribute, you can download them and either circulate soft copies or take printouts and put them up in prominent places.

Here are some suggestions of where to use them:

  • At the workplace
  • In your apartment
  • At your college
  • At your hostel or PG
  • At the local supermarket
  • At clubs or community centres
  • Through social media

You’re sure to think of other ways. Do make a start!
