Explore your various emotions

It is normal to experience a host of emotions like sadness, anger, guilt and many more. Sometimes you might feel anger directed at the deceased person, sometimes at yourself and sometimes even towards God. Speak about it. You might also feel guilty sometimes and begin to have thoughts like, “if only I had taken better care, this wouldn’t have happened” and so on.

Rather than keep it all inside, open up and speak about how you feel.
