Location of the device

It is best if the computer is kept in a common place, rather than a bedroom. If the location is someplace that everyone has access to every time, that in itself is a deterrent to doing something they shouldn’t and moreover it is easier to monitor them. If the room has a door, there should be a rule that the door always remains open when someone is using the computer. If we adults can set this example, the children are likely to follow the same. Other portable devises like laptop, i-Pad and phones should have designated areas for usage, like the living room or dining table.
